Finance Lead

Were currently supporting a new software holdco with an exciting Finance Lead opportunity. The Finance Lead is a critical role that will owntwo core areas: the diligence and underwriting process for business that we look to acquire and the functional controller and financial allocation work at the head office and portfolio company level.

Core responsibilities include:

• Develop and optimize financial underwriting models to better understand and evaluate potential acquisition targets

• Create and lead a repeatable financial diligence process for companies were in diligence on

• Work as a functional financial controller at head office and for our first few portfolio companies to solidify our forecasting and reporting process

• Assist portfolio CEOs in strategic finance work to help them better manage their business

• Develop thought leadership and research pieces that we believe the community would benefit from

What were looking for:

Theideal candidate has handson experience in a finance role in a startup environmentthis is a nonnegotiable requirement. We expect this individual to be selfdriven selfmotivated and capable of charting their own path. Backgroundwise were looking for someone who has CA orCPA credentials but who is looking for a more dynamic and challenging environment.

We dont care where you went to school and dont require any advanced degree beyond an undergraduate degree. The role is remote ideally located in the US or Canada and will be on a contract basis to start. Salary for the role will be 8090k USD (105 120k CAD approx).
