Facilities Maintenance Team Lead
Location: Onsite in Madison WI with portfolio support across various locations
Reports to: Director of Facilities Maintenance
Salary: Competitive

Position Overview:
Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Team Lead responsible for planning implementing and managing mechanical operations maintenance programs and building portfolios across multiple locations. This role is crucial in overseeing operational accounts managing maintenance issues and ensuring adherence to safety protocols while upholding our commitment to excellence and our core values.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan implement and manage mechanical operations maintenance and communications for a portfolio of buildings across multiple internal customers.
  • Develop and maintain effective buildingspecific maintenance and safety procedure manuals.
  • Coordinate maintenance with contractors oversee building systems (fire/life safety plumbing HVAC electrical) and remain updated on HVAC technology trends.
  • Maintain communication with tenants clients owners facility management team and vendors.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations troubleshoot operational issues and resolve customer concerns.
  • Implement inventory control programs purchase parts and administer maintenance/repair service contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with codes government directives and safety regulations related to building operations.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a twoyear college or technical school. Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from a fouryear college or university preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years related experience and/or trade school training.
  • Universal CFC certification (Required)
  • Additional certification in three or more of the following: HVAC electrical mechanical HVAC and refrigeration systems process controls mechanical power transmissions painting plumbing carpentry or engine repair.
  • Strong communication organizational and analytical skills.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and make informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HVAC certification (Preferred)
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification (Preferred)


A minimum of 3 years of property management experience. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in property management software and tools.
