Education and Experience:
1. Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engg.
2. At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
candidate would have experience in manufacturing of 3wheelers.
Skills:
1. Production Management:
- Overseeing the daytoday operations of the fabrication unit to ensure that production schedules are met.
- Developing and implementing production plans and strategies to optimize efficiency.
2. Project Management:
- Managing special projects within the fabrication unit such as the introduction of new products process improvements or facility expansions.
3. Quality Control:
- Implementing and maintaining quality control processes to ensure that fabricated products meet the required standards.
- Monitoring and addressing any issues related to product quality.
4. Resource Management:
- Managing resources within the fabrication unit including human resources equipment and materials.
- Allocating resources effectively to meet production goals and minimize waste.
5. Budget Management:
- Developing and managing the budget for the fabrication unit controlling costs and seeking ways to improve costefficiency.
6. Equipment and Technology:
- Overseeing the maintenance and proper functioning of fabrication equipment.
- Evaluating and implementing new technologies or improvements to enhance fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of developing fixtures and dies for new products.
7. Safety Compliance:
- Ensuring that safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment within the fabrication unit.
8. Training and Development:
- Providing training to staff on the proper use of equipment and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Developing the skills and capabilities of the fabrication team.
