Experienced DevOps System Administrator

Are you ready to help a VPN service boost to the sky?

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter and a change agent with experience and desire to drive organizations to be successful in exploring, evaluating, and fixing new and emerging problems. You will be asked to deploy, monitor, and maintain services in production, including Kubernetes, Docker, Graphana, and help transforming the organization to take advantage of DevOps best practices and methodologies.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

• Enable DevOps mindset into the organization, by working collaboratively with Development and Operations Team members
• Maintain general platform health and system integrity
• Coordinating with other team members to plan capacity and scaling needs
• Design, enable, and deliver scalable and automated strategy
• Run and maintain different product environments (development, stage, production)
• Deliver a Continous Integration system
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of complex systems
• Integrating third-party services and own services using common protocols
• Working in an Agile environment
• Working well as part of the team

Side Responsibilities

• Writing clean code
• Managing data using ORMs
• Developing features
• Fixing bugs
• Writing a scalable backend
• Ensuring that all components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s of above in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience working with Python, Docker, Kubernetes, as well as tools like Ansible or Jenkins
• Knowledge of Linux, bash, and shell scripting
• Experience working with relational databases and key-value stores
• Experience working with queues and brokers like Celery
• Software development background and understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including algorithms and data structures
• Excellent knowledge of design patterns, good modeling practices, and architectural concepts
• Strong understanding of RESTful API principles and architectures
• Experience with GIT (version control system)
• Experience with GitHub or Gitlab
• Fluent English

Good to have

• Telegram bots experience
• Knowledge of GraphQL
• Experience with Circle CI or any other CI/CD tool
