Overview:

The Event Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving revenue for the organization by selling event spaces and services to potential clients. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients understanding their event needs and effectively promoting the venues offerings. This role requires strong sales and interpersonal skills to meet and exceed sales goals while ensuring a seamless and positive experience for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for event spaces and services through various channels cold calling referrals etc.
  • Develop customized event proposals and presentations that showcase our services and demonstrate value to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through networking and outreach
  • Understand client event requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients ensuring terms align with company policies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful event execution
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to revenue growth
  • Deliver excellent customer service to clients addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings
  • Prepare sales reports and participate in sales meetings to discuss progress and strategies
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to promote services

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Hospitality or related a field
  • Proven experience in sales preferably in the events or hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of event planning and logistics
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Selfmotivated with a resultsdriven approach
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and client meetings
