Who we are:
Founded in 2021 with Nidecker Group, Equip Club SA have had one mission in mind: provide people with the opportunity to rent premium sports equipment. Any sport, anytime, anywhere. With fully autonomous stations for Stand Up Paddle or Multisport; Equip aim at connecting sports and communities in three easy steps. Simply reserve, grab and go!
Today, Equip is based in Rolle - Switzerland on the French-Swiss Riviera, close to the Lake Leman and the Alps. The team currently manages partnerships and stations in 40 locations around Switzerland, France, Italy and Spain.
Tasks
What you can expect in the role:
- Design, implement, and automate deployment of a systen for collecting and processing events from multiple sources.
- Design data schema and operate internal data warehouses and SQL/NoSQL database systems.
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards that engineers, analysts, and data scientists use to drive key business decisions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot operational or data issues in the data pipelines.
- Drive architectural plans and implementation for future data storage, reporting, and analytic solutions.
- Develop code based automated data pipelines able to process many data points.
- Improve database and data warehouse performance by tuning inefficient queries.
- Work collaboratively with Business, Software, and Customer Success to identify opportunities/problems.
- Provide assistance to the team with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and thoroughly resolving defects in the event of a problem.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Between 3 to 5 years javascript ideally. Other languages welcome!
- Between 3 to 5 years SQL and/or 1 to 3 years NoSQL
- Experience with data mining and data transformation.
- Understand the basics of designing and implementing a data schema (e.g., normalization, relational model vs dimensional model)
- Experience with data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, and reporting/analytic tools and environments.
- Experience with data visualization software (e.g., AWS QuickSight or Tableau) to convey results in a simple way.
- Experience with backend and web services/components, React, React-Native, NodeJS, Kubernetes and Google Cloud is a nice to have
