Education Requirement

High School Diploma or Equivalent Associates Degree a plus

Years of Experience Required

7 years experience as semiconductor technician testing measurement or related experience in semiconductor industry.

Physical Requirements

Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 30 lbs.

Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g. standing or sitting).

Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.

Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues customers and vendors both in person and remotely

Job Description Overview

Works independently with little supervision in a lab environment.

Works with Validation engineers across a wide range of areas and understands how to execute tests and collect data efficiently.

Requires hands on experience with setup and running equipment to include scopes Source meters/DMM.

May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assignments are semi routine in nature.

Work performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.

Normally receives general instructions on most work.

Requires good verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be somewhat complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question.

Most tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Deductive and inductive problem solving is required; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; attention to detail is a must.
