Funnel is looking for an Engineering Manager to join and lead our friendly engineering teams all located in Stockholm. Our engineering teams have clear ownership and room to make great decisions and priorities for our product. They need great managers who can provide clarity and support to help them succeed even further.This is where we need you!

What you will do

As Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading coaching and supporting our engineering teams. It is the teams that make architectural and technical decisions you will enable them by sharing and discussing the vision context and information with the teams. This way you enable everyone to make good decisions and have the best possible impact.

You will collaborate closely with other Engineering Managers the VP of Engineering and our CTO.You will also collaborate closely with Heads of Product and Heads of Design we work together to enable the teams. Your focus will be divided between time with your teams individuals in 11s collaborating with the engineering leadership team as well as building relationships with stakeholders and colleagues in other parts of the organization.

• Culture Building Maintaining our great culture and aligning with the broader company values. Together with your colleagues continuously improve our organization.
  
• Technical Strategy Contribute to the technical vision and strategy and support the engineering teams to align and succeed in their initiatives.
• Operational efficiency and performance Identify and solve inefficiencies and blockers. Enabling and guiding the teams to perform and deliver with pride.

• Proven experience managing multiple engineering teams.
• Handson experience in agile teams and ways of working (e.g. facilitating workshops retrospectives driving iterative product cycles)
• Handson experience as a software developer (even if its been a while thats ok!) with good knowledge of longterm software lifecycle from idea to production includingoperations incident and issue management.
• Fluent in English.

Other information
This role is located in Stockholm and we offer a hybrid work setup. We value increased inperson collaboration and as such we work a minimum of three days a week from our offices.
