BASIC FUNCTION: Analyzing the requirements and developing functional modules using Embedded C programming language. Knowledge on hardware and firmware architecture for troubleshooting and solving the issues
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analysing customer requirements
Converting the requirements into design documents
Constructing design level algorithm document
Developing application modules by writing Embedded C programming
Integrating the firmware with hardware
Hardware and firmware debugging and solving the major/minor issues
Taking ownership of complete project
Any other responsibilities as allotted by Management
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Excellent Electrical knowledge and appreciable knowledge in Electronics
Should have work experience in Embedded Devices Testing and Hardware Design
Strong knowledge in C/C and Embedded Software Design and willing to code
Good Knowledge and work experience in ARM cortex M controllers Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and SoCs
Good understanding of the Hardware design and Interfaces like I2C SPI UART USB etc
Must have experience on protocols like TCP/IP Modbus MQTT WiFi Ethernet etc.
Good analytical thinking and understanding of metering industry
Experience in realtime hardware/software interfacing and design issues.
Develop complete firmware for Embedded Systems
Strong troubleshooting and debugging abilities
Knowledge in Mathematics and Digital Signal Processing
Demonstrated ability to plan prioritize facilitate and track projects using applicable project management tools
Knowledge of latest Project Management Tools in R & D
Excellent facilitation verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills
Strong stakeholder management relationship building and influencing skills.
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE / COMPENSATION:
Graduate Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE)
Around 1 3 years of experience
