Position Title
Quality Engineer
Onsite role in Horicon WI

1st shift. 6:30am3:00pm. With some weekend OT as needed.
Metatarsals required

Manager is not considering recent grads

May drive Gator vehicle (training will be provided)

Your Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer for Horicon Works located in Horicon WI you will investigate quality issues related to product and processes
gather and analyze data to determine root cause document in NCCA system and implement corrective action.

In addition you will:
Investigate quality issues related to product and processes gather and analyze data to determine root cause.
Provide work direction to inspectors and auditors on containment quality procedures and tools to monitor critical processes.
Help to identify Continuous Improvement projects (CI)

Use quality tools and practices to establish approval criteria to ensure the identification of quality concerns.
Monitor and facilitate quality activities for part approval verify manufacturing processes and confirm process capability.
Generate quality related reports for monitoring metrics.

What Skills You Need
2 or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering quality engineering or supply management in a
design/manufacturing environment
2 or more years of experience using standard quality tools (Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) Statistical Process Control
(SPC) Root Cause Analysis 8D Statistics
2 or more years of experience leading projects with minimal supervision to aggressively solve quality issues
2 or more years of demonstrated communication organizational and facilitation skills
Must work well within a team environment
Expected start time of 6:30am and occasional weekend overtime as needed

What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with Machining Welding and/or Assembly Engineering (ME/QE)
Previous experience with Riding Lawn Equipment or Utility Vehicle production processes and organization
Knowledge of SAPPAG
Knowledge of JD Equipment
User knowledge of ProE Creo CreoView or other solid modeling software

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelors degree in an Engineering Field
