Education o Bachelors degree in marketing communications computer science or related field
Experience o 34 years of handson experience in HTML coding for email campaigns
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES
Independently build QA and deploy flawless email campaigns based on campaign briefs
Collaborate with Email Lifecycle Marketing Manager and Marketing Planning team to develop and build customer journeys in support of marketing objectives
Partner with database team to ensure all data connections are available and accurate for personalization dynamic creative segmentation targeting and deployment
Translate email campaign test strategies into customer journeys and launch the deployment of email tests
Develop and implement a monitoring and alert system to ensure journeys are executed consistently and accurately
Understand team priorities proactively manage workload against priorities and communicate challenges and obstacles to manager in a timely manner
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Managing the customer journey and dynamic campaign deployment for guests who have booked a voyage but have not departed.
Coding emails within Adobe Journey Optimizers various areas such as Campaigns and Journeys to execute daily email sends and Journey construction
Execute journey updates and edits provided by crossfunctional teams including Marketing Planning Product Communications and Brand
Research and implement journey improvements and efficiencies to current methods of execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience constructing and executing complex customer journeys and automations in email marketing programs such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Adobe Email products Oracle Responsys or similar.
Proven experience using HTML CSS and Javascript to code emails
Proficiency in email QA processes using programs such as Google Sheets web developer tools Litmus or Email on Acid
Strong understanding of connecting Platform Data and connecting to email campaigns & Journeys.
Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and industry standards across journeys and development.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor information to nontechnical audiences.
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decisions.
Experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
Complete fluency of Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on PowerPoint Excel and Microsoft Planner. Preference for familiarity with SharePoint and OneDrive.
Preferred
Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer or Adobe Campaign.
Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Planner Monday Workfront or similar.
Familiarity with customer behavior segmentation and messaging.
