Electrician - 442A or 309A Red Seal

A new opportunity is available for a local Red Seal Certified Electrician (442A or 309A) to join an established Operation in Thunder Bay ON.

Electricians can expect to be installing wiring, troubleshooting faults, ensuring Ontario Electrical Safety Code compliance, use and maintain PLC & SCADA programs, completing diagnostics according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams, repairing malfunctioning equipment, such as motors, controls, and other equipment through the safe and effective use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. Electricians will have:

Applied math knowledge, mechanical and basic electrical aptitude

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, etc.

Sound understanding of PLCs, VFDs, and working knowledge of industrial tools

Experience with high voltage

Familiarity with standard maintenance procedures, preventative maintenance schedules, basic documentation, and proper safety techniques

Schedule

Day Shift, 4 x 10 hour shifts. Some on-call flexibility required from time to time. Overtime available.

Compensation

$29.00 - $32.00/hour to start based on previous experiences and licensing. Benefits include:
