Your Responsibilities:

Facilitate and participate in client meetings including delivering presentations.

• Act as lead Project Manager for all assigned projects including managing a team of Designers and Drafters.
  
• Ensure seamless coordination among the internal and external project team.
  
• Assume the role of Contract Administrator for designated projects as needed.
  
• Ensure assigned projects are delivered on time and on budget while preparing/reviewing any change orders and contract amendments.
  
• Address technical and financial inquiries related to projects.
  
• Liaise with external consultants and vendors to facilitate project delivery.
  

Your Qualifications:

• 5 years of electrical engineering Project Management experience within the Halifax electrical building services industry.
  
• Registered P.Eng. designation is preferred. However a senior C.E.T. with commensurate experience and skills will be considered.
  
• Thorough understanding of relevant local building Codes and Standards.
  
• Experience in any of the following building types: Commercial Healthcare Schools Light Industrial buildings such as Warehouses/Fabrication Shops/Distribution Centres or MultiFamily Residential.
  
• Proficiency in project procurement methodologies.
  
• Ability to navigate complex environments with multiple projects and clients.
  
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written evidenced through client and staff interactions.
  
• Experience collaborating with external consultants and contractors on major projects.
  
• LEED certification or experience with sustainable design is considered an asset.
