Drug Alcohol Counselor - PERM

Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a permanent fulltime Drug & Alcohol Counselor. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Moab UT 84532

Start Date: 4/15/2024

Anticipated schedule: Monday Friday 7 AM to 3:30 PM with occasional Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Reports to: OTP Director

Starting pay range: $34.50 to $38/hour/$71760.00 to $79040.00 DOE.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care:

• Complete intake admission discharge and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
• Conduct individual group and family counseling sessions.
• Educate patients on all aspects of treatment related health issues and steps to recovery.
• Assist in monitoring patient activities on center premises.
• Report patient abuse neglect and exploitation.
• Report patient grievances.

Treatment Planning:

• Develop psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans.
• Identify and address clinical and case management needs.

Compliance & Confidentiality:

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
• Maintain proper licensure and certifications.
• Participate in preparation for surveys and inspections.

Professionalism & Teamwork:

• Attend staff meetings.
• Comply with local state and federal regulations.
• Act in the best interests of the program and company.
• Participate in community relations activities.
• Work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Other Duties:

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION (Nurse Practioner Position)

Experience:

• One year of experience as a registered nurse is preferred.

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred
• Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred

• Ability to multitask prioritize and be dependable and reliable
• Organized and resourceful selfstarter; strong ability to work in a team.
• Interest in and motivated to work closely with community resources on the patients behalf.
