Description of work:
Manage the drilling process at the control panel of the drilling rig.
The main method of making boreholes is mechanical.
A driller of percussive mechanical drilling assembles, dismantles drilling units, selects suitable drilling modes, drills wells using various drilling tools on rods and ropes.
A driller extracts loosened rock and measures its volume, takes samples with a soil carrier, cleans wells, casings pipes and extracts them, and installs filters.
A driller from the surface of the ground controls the process of deepening the bottom of a drilled hole, fixing rocks on its walls, creating a kind of formwork from cement mortar and pipes, and opening productive deposits.
A driller will monitor the level of gas coming out of the well, the amount of drilling fluid coming in, and other information.

- design of drilling rigs;
- varieties of drilling tools and equipment;
- types of filters, rules for their use;
- technological features of the drilling process;
- possible causes of technical malfunctions and accidents, ways to prevent and eliminate them;
- forms and conditions of rocks occurrence;
- classification and properties of rocks according to drillability;
- types and features of minerals, features of their occurrence in deposits.
