Job Description

Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) needsan expert level network architect who has extensive experience and knowledge inHPE Aruba Clearpass and Wireless solutions. The network architect will beresponsible for designing implementing troubleshooting and maintaininglargescale Aruba controller based wireless networks for the ODRC. The position will be involved in providingtechnical support documentation and training to the network team and the endusers.

Responsibilities

Designconfigure deploy and optimize Aruba Clearpass and Wireless solutions forvarious network scenarios and requirements.

Creates or editsfor recommendation and approval IT artifacts including but not limited topolicies procedures standard guidelines best practices and position papers.

Troubleshoot andresolve complex network issues related to Aruba Clearpass and Wirelesstechnologies such as authentication authorization encryption roaming QoSRF and security.

Monitor andanalyze network performance and health using Aruba tools and best practices.

Provide technicalguidance and recommendations to the network team on Aruba Clearpass andWireless solutions.

Prepare andmaintain network documentation diagrams policies and procedures.

Conduct networkaudits assessments and reviews to ensure compliance with Aruba standards andbest practices.

Stay updated withthe latest Aruba technologies products and certifications.

Train and mentornetwork team members and end users on Aruba Clearpass and Wireless solutions.

Qualifications

4 year Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Engineering or related field

7 years ofexperience working in networking with at least 5 years of experience in ArubaClearpass and Wireless solutions.

Expertise inAruba controller based wireless solutions including ArubaOS Aruba CentralAruba Airwave Aruba Activate and Aruba Instant.

Expertise inAruba Clearpass solutions including Clearpass Policy Manager Clearpass GuestClearpass Onboard Clearpass OnGuard and Clearpass Exchange.

Expertise innetwork protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP VLAN DHCP DNS RADIUSNA2.1X EAP WPA WPA2 WPA3 NAC VPN and firewall.

Expertise innetwork troubleshooting tools and methods such as Wireshark ping tracerouteiperf and Aruba utilities.

Aruba CertifiedMobility Expert (ACMX) and Aruba Certified Clearpass Expert (ACCX)certifications are highly preferred.

Excellentcommunication presentation and interpersonal skills.

Ability to workindependently and as part of a team.

Ability to travelto client sites as needed.
