Job Description

The Lead Generation Agent will be directly responsible for conducting doortodoor visits in selected Cape Town neighborhoods to identify and collect qualified leads interested in solar energy solutions offered by our client.

Requirements

  • Neighbourhood DoortoDoor Visits:

    • Conduct facetoface visits in the designated neighborhoods outlined in the pilot project.

    • Present sales pitch script to individuals at their residences.

  • Lead Engagement:

    • Engage with potential leads emphasizing the benefits of adopting solar energy.

    • Communicate ongoing offers and promotions provided by our client.

  • Lead SignUp Process:

    • Utilize the provided Tshirts and carry a supply of flyers with QR codes.

    • If the lead expresses interest use the unique referral link to sign them up on the spot.

    • Complete the lead signup form capturing essential details: First Name Last Name Email ID Phone No ID number Home Ownership Status (Owner/Renter) Monthly Electricity Bill Amount and Preferred time slot to speak to our client s Advisor.

  • Flyer Distribution:

    • If the lead is not available drop informational flyers at their doorstep/mailbox.

    • Ensure all distributed materials are aligned with the branding guidelines.

  • Lead Qualification:

    • Ensure that each collected lead meets the required criteria:

      • ID number passes finance approval check.

      • The lead is a property owner.

      • Monthly electricity bill amount is greater than R1000.

  • Reporting and Documentation:

    • Provide realtime reports indicating the count of referred leads and successful leads for each agent.

    • Submit weekly reports detailing the location of the referred leads in the sales funnel.


Skills Required:
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to deliver the sales pitch effectively and engage with potential leads.

  • Ability to articulate the benefits of solar energy and convey ongoing offers

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with individuals in the targeted neighborhoods.

  • Comfortable approaching and interacting with people at their residences.

  • Basic understanding of sales techniques and the ability to persuade leads to consider solar solutions.

  • Reliable and punctual for doortodoor visits to ensure the planned schedule is adhered to.

  • Careful attention to detail during the lead signup process to accurately capture all required information.

  • Physical stamina to handle doortodoor visits and potentially cover a significant number of residences in a day.

  • Strict adherence to the provided procedures including using the referral link wearing branded Tshirts and distributing materials as instructed.

  • Proficiency in using smartphones or tablets to facilitate the lead signup process using QR codes and referral links.

  • Conduct all activities in an ethical manner respecting privacy and following local laws and regulations.

  • Willingness to undergo training sessions to understand the sales pitch script lead signup process and other relevant details.

  • Capability to maintain accurate records and provide realtime and weekly reports on referred leads as per the guidelines.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Door-to-Door Sales: Engage with residents in assigned communities to promote and sell fibre internet services, effectively communicating the benefits and features of our offerings. Walking Routes: Follow designated walking routes to maximize coverage and reach potential customers within the community. Educational Outreach: Educate potential customers about the advantages of our fibre internet services and answer any questions or concerns they may have. Feedback Reporting: Provide detailed feedback and insights after each shift, including customer interactions, concerns, and market trends. Working Hours: Work between 15:00 and 19:00 from Monday to Friday and between 08:00 and 12:00 on Saturdays. Sales Reporting: Accurately record and upload sales data into both client systems and our internal systems for tracking and reporting purposes. Customer Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with potential customers and leave a favorable impression of the company. Qualifications and Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and able to work independently Ability to walk for extended periods and follow designated routes Sales or customer service experience is a plus Reliable and punctual Reporting Structure: The External Fibre Sales Associate will report to a designated Team Leader who will provide guidance, support, and performance feedback.
