Overview:
The Director of Professional Services is a crucial leadership role within the organization responsible for overseeing the professional services departments strategic direction operational performance and client relationships. This role plays a vital part in driving the growth and success of the professional services division by ensuring highquality service delivery fostering client satisfaction and achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the professional services department
- Manage a portfolio of up to 10 15 business transformation enterprise projects or a couple of strategic engagements of varying complexity at any given time.
- Lead the implementation services & consulting for assigned clients.
- Implementation scoping estimating and contract reviews.
- Work with crossdepartmental departments (Sales Product Management Customer Value Infrastructure) to be able to come up with solutions that help provide value to clients.
- Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders of Fortune 1000 companies.
- Manage project resources including project managers solution architects and consultants.
- Manage project issues risks and client expectations and escalate as needed.
- Assist in building playbooks and benchmarks from completed projects.
- Understanding of business processes and system architecture.
- Arranging and conducting initial executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
- Oversee project management resource allocation and scheduling of professional services engagements
- Provide leadership guidance and mentorship to the professional services team
- Manage client relationships and ensure the delivery of highquality services
- Collaborate with sales and account management teams to identify and pursue growth opportunities
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators financial metrics and departmental goals
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the professional services department
- Participate in the development of proposals statements of work and contract negotiations
- Ensure compliance with industry standards regulatory requirements and company policies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management or related field
- 15 years of experience in professional services consulting or related fields
- Independent thinking with keen problemsolving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple work plans.
- High organization and prioritization skills.
- Excellent verbal written and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to take a handson approach to managing client needs and troubled engagements.
- Very strong stakeholder management skills with flair to establish starting relationships and influence decisionmaking with client executives based out of NA/EMEA.
- Strong program management skills with the ability to zoom in/ and out of engagements based on portfolio reviews and program risk.
- Passionate about building teams talent identification and hiring externally to help build a strong future consulting foundation.
- Excellent team management and collaboration skills with special emphasis on establishing personal rapport with his/her team.
- Proven problemsolving risk mitigation and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle highpressure situations.
- Strong ownership to drive the projects from start to finish with maximum client delight.
