Digital Designer

Rat & boa are looking for highly collaborative hybrid creative with extensive experience in digital design brand guardianship and art direction. A handson big thinker.

You will be responsible to design and implement digital asset layouts colour palettes fonts and animations that resonate with our audience and uphold our luxury positioning.

Tasks

• You will have ownership of design briefs from ideation through to completion delivering web assets that are both on brand and adhere to UX best practices.
• You will support the creative team on a variety of artworking briefs primarily producing web assets to support eretail and ecom including campaign assets art direction of web and email designs digital templates and layout of seasonal selling tools for sales and marketing.
• Brand and fashion experience is a strong preference. Behind the scenes digital format creation digital marketing and website design experience essential. Brand guideline guardianship and overall brand identity experience a huge bonus.
• You will proactively manage and be accountable for artwork quality accuracy and consistency.
• You will ensure that all executions are produced in a customerfocused manner focussed on readability usability functionality and performance.
• You will deliver against branding UI interaction and performance guidelines.

Requirements

Essential skills:

• An avid fan of all things design someone who is constantly researching and looking for inspiration.
• Proven experience in a web design role within an eretail space preferably in fashion.
• Proactive in carrying out responsibilities bringing creative and innovative ideas.
• Strong website design and UI design skills.
• Ability to translate wireframes into web components.
• Proficient in Sketch Figma or InVision studio as well as Adobe packages.
• Experience working with design systems.
• Good understanding of ecommerce UX principles. Background in UX a bonus.

Desirable skills:

• 3 years of fashion design experience working in Digital Design

Soft skills:

• Must be able to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication skills able to provide clear direction and leadership on creative concepts visually and verbally.
