We have partnered with a worldwide global quantitative asset management firm with over $7 billion in assets under managementlooking to expand their DevOps team in their new office in Uruguay.

What youll be doing as a DevOps Engineer:

We are seeking a Senior DevOps engineer to join the team that works on a complex distributed architecture spanning physical machines and virtualizing onprem host/cloud computing.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage complexity and tackle problems across multiple stack layers as a part of a small team championing operational excellence.

What youll need to be successful in this job:

• Linux operating system internals performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Network stack and the ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity issues.
• OnPrem DevOps experience
• CI/CD/SDLC technology
• Kubernetes Docker or similar virtualization technologies
• Distributed Telemetry frameworks
• Scripting skills ideally with Python or Go
• Indepth SQL experience
• Upper intermediate / Advanced level of English
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related careers
