Our Client is a 40yearold award winning developer/ builder widely respected who has master planned residential
communities and condominiums across the GTA. As they continue to grow they are looking to add a Development
Coordinator low rise to their team reporting to the Vice President Land Development.
Your Day to Day includes:
Assist the VP in coordinating 10 plan of subdivision projects through the land entitlement
process across York Region Durham & Peel through to SPA & building permits to handover to
internal construction division.
Research and provide critical planning analysis of development and servicing alternatives for
various projects
Work together with the Development group and consulting teams to facilitate planning and
engineering approvals
Oversee the coordination and preparation of land use applications
engineering and servicing related permit applications including OBA ZBA minor variances
Committee of Adjustments and SPA.
Coordinate and attend meetings with municipalities agencies committees and Councils as
required
Expedite timely approvals to facilitate site servicing to meet overall project timelines with
municipalities including reviewing comments and planning amendments.
Ensure completion of all servicing matters to allow for building permit issuance
registration and assumption
What You Bring:
You have either an urban planning architecture or engineering educational background.
You bring 24 years of plan of subdivision planning experience through various stages of the
development process.
23 years of project coordination and liaison with city staff.
You are a quick learner with a positive attitude to eagerly take on new challenges
A thorough understanding of varying Municipal planning approval process
