Design Engineer

• Engage with customers to grasp project requirements effectively
• Research and identify design solutions that align with customer needs and cost estimates
• Conduct detailed mechanical design tasks including 3D modeling simulations (e.g. thermal and stress) and design verification testing
• Utilize design software to create models and drawings of new engineering products
• Produce assembly drawings and bills of materials
• Develop technical reports and documentation as necessary for the designed products
• Evaluate completed designs to identify potential issues or risks
• Adhere to project schedules and deadlines
• Address design change requests promptly
• Manage and update design files and information in line with departmental protocols
• Oversee the manufacturing process to achieve the envisioned design objectives
• Create test prototypes coordinate their production and conduct testing
• Collaborate with other engineers management and the creative department
• Provide progress reports on assigned tasks to the Engineering Manager and Project Management teams

• Proficiency in understanding customer requirements designing and producing drawings
• Ability to estimate cost limits and budgets for new designs
• Capability to collaborate with engineers from other disciplines (e.g. electronics and optics) to develop multidisciplinary design solutions
• Confidence proactiveness and leadership in challenging scenarios
• Creative thinking coupled with strong problemsolving abilities
• Excellent communication skills for interactions with colleagues external vendors and customers to achieve desired outcomes
• Strong IT skills with expertise in design software
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Effective multitasking and time management abilities

• Bachelor s degree in Design Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Product Design
• Proficiency in MS Office AutoCAD and CATIA/SolidWorks or similar design software with a keen eye for detail
• Team player with a strong belief in collaborative work ethics
