Overview:

The Demat account Sales (Field Sales) position plays a critical role in acquiring new customers and promoting Demat account services in the field. The role requires establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships as well as effectively communicating the benefits of Demat accounts to potential clients. This position is instrumental in driving sales and revenue growth for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting field visits to identify potential customers and generate leads for Demat account sales
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to understand their investment needs
  • Promoting the benefits of Demat accounts and providing education on the process of account opening
  • Meeting sales targets and contributing to the overall revenue goals of the organization
  • Providing personalized assistance to customers in completing the Demat account opening process
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and initiatives
  • Following up with leads and prospects to convert them into customers
  • Providing feedback to the management on customer requirements and market trends
  • Attending networking events and conferences to expand the customer base
  • Keeping abreast of industry developments and competitor activities
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance or related field
  • Proven experience in field sales or direct sales roles
  • Knowledge of financial products particularly Demat accounts and stock market operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sound understanding of customer relationship management
  • Proactive and resultsoriented mindset
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools
  • Ability to thrive in a targetdriven environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel within the designated geographical area
  • Adherence to ethical business practices and compliance standards
  • Certification in sales or relevant field is a plus
  • Valid drivers license and access to transportation
