We have partnered with a worldwide global quantitative asset management firm with over $7 billion in assets under management looking to expand their Data team in their new office in Uruguay.

What youll be doing as a Data Operations Engineer:

Support the daily operation and monitoring of the pipeline.

Triage issues by addressing urgent realtime trading alerts while also servicing researchdriven workflows.

Improve the reliability and operability of pipeline components in a highvelocity environment.

Solve both business and technical problems around data structure quality and availability.

Interface with external vendors on behalf of internal clients.

What youll need to be successful in this job:

Experience with the Unix platform and toolsets such as bash git and regex.

Fluency in one or more major programming languages like Python Perl or C.

Excellent English communication: Oral and written.
