We have partnered with a worldwide global quantitative asset management firm with over $7 billion in assets under management looking to expand their Data team in their new office in Uruguay.

We seek a proficient Python developer with experience to assist in constructing and managing a framework dedicated to handling diverse datasets originating from various sources including both internal and external crucial for the effective functioning of the firms investment operations.

What youll be doing as a Data Engineer:

Unifying numerous data sources and databases within a single system
Crafting interfaces and microservices using Python
Enhancing the companys data
Preprocessing and cleansing of semistructured or unstructured data
Formulating effective algorithms for data processing
Evaluating and incorporating external APIs
Providing support to the Business Analysts team
Establishing an automated system for data processing and overseeing its maintenance
