What we are looking for

We seek a skilled Data Analyst to join our team leveraging mobile money systems in emerging markets. The ideal candidate will use advanced analytics data visualization and programming to extract insights from complex datasets supporting datadriven decisions. You should be proficient in SQL Python R and familiar with BI tools like Tableau. We value strategic thinkers with excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively. Expect a hiring process that includes a case study panel interview and an executive interview.

What does the job involve

• You will conduct comprehensive data analysis using advanced statistical methods data mining techniques and programming languages to extract insights and uncover patterns in complex datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• You will develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards reports and visualizations to effectively communicate analytical findings to stakeholders enabling them to make datadriven decisions.
• You will design and implement data models to support complex analytical queries predictive modeling and forecasting ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• You will develop and implement data quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy reliability and consistency across multiple systems and sources.
• You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define business problems and research objectives formulate analytical approaches and develop innovative solutions that address critical business challenges.
• You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements define key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver datadriven insights that support their decisionmaking processes.
• You will identify opportunities to improve data collection processes enhance data quality and streamline analytical workflows contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the data analysis function.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL Python R or similar programming languages.
• Indepth knowledge of statistical analysis techniques data mining and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau Looker and Big Query.
• Proficiency in working with large datasets and using database technologies.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and database design principles.
• Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex findings to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• A quantitative degree.
