Data Analyst will be a part of the Sumo Logic Data Analytics Team which is responsible for designing and developing analytic products including but not limited to business models dashboards and reports to support Sumo Logic s growth. The Analyst will work closely with key stakeholders across the business and will be responsible for gathering analyzing and visualizing data to provide actionable insights and support datadriven decisionmaking.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with crossfunctional teams to assess data analytics use cases and solutions.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using SQL Python Spreadsheet tools like Google Sheets Excel and BI Tools like Tableau Looker etc.
- Monitor dashboards performance and make improvements as necessary.
- Automate daily weekly monthly and quarterly reports and schedule their delivery.
- Maintain Documentation to support Knowledge retention.
- Like to work in a dynamic complex international and everchanging environment.
- Stay curious and uptodate with the latest developments in the field of data analytics.
Required Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor s degree in Quantitative Field.
- (13) years of experience as a Data Analyst/Data Engineer.
- Working knowledge of: SQL Python Data Stack Libraries (Numpy Pandas Matplotlib Seaborn IPython Jupyter Notebooks)
- Python Scripting and Automation
- Building interactive dashboards/reports using Tableau/Looker.
- Linux Shell Scripting
- AWS Cloud Services (EC2 S3 Redshift CloudWatch)
- Building ETL/ELT Pipelines
- Curious Mindset Attention to detail and good problem solving skills.
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills.
Good to Have:
- Working knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Modelling.
- Working knowledge of Advanced SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Working knowledge of common Enterprise Applications like Salesforce Netsuite Clari etc.
