Overview:

The Customer Service Associate plays a crucial role in our organization by being the primary point of contact for customers. They are responsible for addressing customer inquiries resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role is vital in maintaining positive customer relationships and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers via phone email or in person to provide information and address inquiries
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Process orders returns and exchanges
  • Update customer records in the database with accurate information
  • Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex issues
  • Identify and assess customers needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Provide product and service information to customers
  • Follow communication procedures guidelines and policies
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Document customer interactions and transactions
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and company policies
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Participate in training and coaching sessions
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a positive working environment
  • Adhere to company standards and meet key performance indicators

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven work experience in customer service role
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
  • Empathetic and patient when handling customer interactions
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes and learn new processes
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in computer and relevant software applications
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Detailoriented and attentive to customer needs
  • Positive attitude and a desire to provide highquality service
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary
