Job Description:

As a CT Technologist at Providence Health & Services you will play a crucial role in delivering highquality patient care through the performance of computed tomography (CT) scans. Working in a hospital setting you will utilize advanced imaging technology to produce detailed crosssectional images of patients internal organs and tissues aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Required Qualifications:

• California Radiologic Technologist: Must possess or obtain upon hire.
• National Provider BLS American Heart Association: Must possess or obtain upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist Radiography American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Must possess or obtain upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist Computed Tomography: Must obtain within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform computed tomography (CT) scans on patients according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process providing clear instructions and answering any questions or concerns.
• Position patients correctly and operate CT equipment to obtain highquality images with optimal diagnostic value.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret imaging results assisting in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records including imaging studies and documentation of procedures performed.
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures as well as regulatory standards and guidelines for radiation safety and infection control.
• Participate in quality assurance activities including equipment maintenance quality control checks and proficiency testing.
• Stay updated on advancements in CT imaging technology and participate in continuing education to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
