A leading player in the Other Financial Institution in Lagos requires the service of Credit Sales Officer.


Job Description:


  • Grow the loan portfolio by promoting and selling the company s loan products Work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions that will add value to the customer s business.

  • Build and maintain clients relationships. Identify potential business opportunities/clients through market research networking and referrals.

  • Provide excellent customer service to new and existing customers.

  • Prepare accurate and complete credit applications ensuring all necessary documentations are provided and verified Follow up on credit requests to ensure approvals are obtained within approved timeline set by management Monitoring market trends and providing feedback on products and solutions to management for review and action.

  • Present weekly monthly and quarterly reports as may be required by management.

  • Any other duty as may be assigned by the Head Credit Department Management and Board Achieve agreed financials targets (assets and liabilities generation) on a monthly basis.



Requirements


  • Skills: Good understanding of Lagos Retail Market structure in line with the company s business Possess strong selling skills

  • Good writing and oral communication skills

  • Must be a team player

  • Must be computer literate

  • Strong problem solving and follow up skills


Qualification and Experience:


  • Bachelor s Degree (Minimum of Second Class Lower) / HND (Minimum Lower Credit minimum) in any discipline.

  • Minimum of 3 4years experience in bank or nonbank financial institution in a marketing role.

  • Remuneration: Competitive salary package



Minimum academic qualification of a good first degree in any discipline A minimum of 5 years experience in e-collections unit or related e-business functions in banks or FIs Sound Knowledge of Business Development Excellent Collections products knowledge Sound Customer Service Knowledge Good Relationship Management Knowledge Sound Business Environment Good Industry analysis Good Financial analysis Interpersonal skills Communication (oral & written) Computer appreciation / data entry (word-processing/spreadsheet/presentation) Adequate technical ability. Numerate & Analytical Organized and ability to work in tight deadlines situations. Key Performance Indicator: Growth in Collections Revenue (N'm) Growth in Collections Transaction Value/Volume Growth in Merchant/Biller Acquisition Growth in number of transacting customers Customer Satisfaction Platform Availability Liability Retention Ratio CBG Cash Balance Sheet Volume Targets
