SCOPE OF WORK
The Credit Risk Analyst role is a varied and dynamic position, responsible for the utilization of credit skills for credit decision-making, monitoring, and managing of credit through
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the end-to-end delivery process of the pre-financed logistics product, on the finance side, including but not limited to
Gathering, storing and analysing all financial and business information to determine creditworthiness for pre-qualifying commercial risk appetite, in compliance with the companys ALM
Reviewing agreement templates for each approved request, and liaising with legal to ensure proper transcription of the operational activities of the transaction
Collecting and storing signed agreements for each approved request
Following up with treasury and the account manager on the delivery of the product to customers
Supporting the collection team
Compile, in conjunction with the CFO, information for portfolio reviews with senior management, including but not limited to
Risk profiling of the portfolio
Review and improvement of the assessment criteria
Performance of the portfolio
Participate in the evolution and maintenance of the portfolio management tool and the assessment model
Report on the performance of the credit
Provides support as
MUST HAVES
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in conducting data analytics, preferably on credit risk policies/strategies in the financial services Experience with commercial credit is a plus
Master s degree with an advanced degree preferably in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science,
Proven experience in risk management and credit assessment in large financial organisations
Proven successful experience in startup environments preferably in Fintech, Insurtech
Ability to handle/analyze large datasets and provide analytical-oriented insights on credit risk and profitability issues
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation Skilled communicator with the ability to influence others
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and critically
Flexibility and ability to thrive in a rapidly-changing, fast-paced environment
