Mommy Poppins is a leading online resource for family activities and travel. The website is used by 13 million readers for local and national editorial, as well as event calendars, business directories, social media channels, and email lists for major US cities.
We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to oversee the creation and promotion of paid content, including:
Paid directory listings
Ticketing
Featured event and directory listings
Affiliate content
Ideal candidate has a strong editorial background, is up to date on the latest marketing strategies and technology for content and affiliate marketing, and has strong team leadership abilities.
The Content Marketing Manager responsibilities are:
Manage 4-8 calendar listings editors, assuring quality and quantity of calendars to maximize traffic.
Oversee moderation and promotion of paid directory and calendar listings to maximize customer success and increase revenue.
Manage affiliate marketing strategy to maximize revenue, identifying opportunities, negotiating partnerships, managing placements and creating content marketing strategy to promote links.
Collaborate with editorial and social media teams on content strategy to maximize promotion and traffic to paid content.
Provide monthly performance reports and consult with CEO on performance and ideas for optimizing.
Strong editorial skills, including SEO, fact-checking and detail orienting editing.
Technically proficient with ability to learn a complex content management system (CMS)
Expert in content strategy and social media marketing
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Meet, Sheets, Docs)
Affiliate content marketing experience
Proficiency with Google Analytics
Team leader with management experience
Great communications skills and ability to both work independently and collaborate in a remote work environment
Full Time
