What are the performance outcomes over the first 612 months you will work toward completing
Within the first 3 months you will be wellversed in our tools and processes for delivering content to our internal facing website. You will understand how to collaborate with the various stakeholders with whom you will work both within and outside of Technical Marketing. You will be increasing your technical knowledge on the Workspace ONE UEM and Horizon platforms and have identified specific areas of focus to continuously develop subject matter expertise. You will work with other team members on delivering competitive focused content on all EUC product. Within 9 months you will be developing meaningful content on your own to show how to deliver business outcomes using our solutions. You will publish content to Tech Zone. You will lead internal enablement sessions to technical roles and will be securing a position of influence as a subject matter expert both inside and outside. Within 12 months you will be helping to drive the direction for content based on the knowledge you will gain on solution strategy go to market and what content is effective at producing desired outcomes.
The Work: What type of work will you be doing What assignments requirements or skills will you be performing on a regular basis
You will impact both the bottom line of the EUC business and influence the direction of clients products through working directly with product management engineering and product marketing to create content that helps to drive adoption of our solutions. You will contribute to the technical body of knowledge through technical enablement by producing competitive content on solution deployment architecture scalability troubleshooting implementation and operational best practices. You will become a widely respected content creator of written and video assets that will be published on VMware s leading technical enablement platform Digital Workspace Tech Zone. The best way to understand the types of work you will be doing daily is to consume the content on Tech Zone. In this role you will be one of the people creating this content.
Requirements
- Strong technical marketing writing skills
- A broad knowledge of end user computing solutions
- Windows modern management concepts
- Critical thinking and analytic skills
- The ability to research compare and contrast end user computing product features virtual desktop and virtual application experience would be beneficial
- Mobile device management experience would be beneficial
- This role is requires management and consumption of large amounts of data. We would prefer a candidate who is comfortable and works well with Excel
- Someone who has worked with Klue or Crayon in the past/has come competitive intelligence background.
