About You:
Are you a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Emergency Medicine Consultant looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic, growing healthcare network where you will be part of a supportive team delivering high quality care to the community? You ll be on a 7-day, 38 hour (4 shifts) per week roster (full-time hours) made up of day and late shifts with the capacity to make roster requests to accommodate all that South Australia has to offer. Consultants are rostered from the morning through to midnight and senior ED registrars/medical practitioners overnight with consultants on call.

Hospital:
This is a specialist referral public teaching hospital which provides a full range of high quality medical, surgical, diagnostic, emergency, and support services to a population of almost 200,000 people.

The Hospital is the major referral centre for acute care and emergency services in the region, it has recently undergone a redevelopment more than $300 million, increasing bed capacity to 400.

• Overview of Hospital - ED
• 70,000 patients treated each year with 25% in paediatrics
• 27 assessment bays (23 adults and 4 paediatrics) including Acute, Sub-Acute, See & Treat and EECU (Extended Emergency Care Unit)

Skills & Qualifications required:

• AHPRA specialist registration
• FACEM or substantial comparability
