Construction Superintendent

Allied Argenta Construction is a rapidly growing General Contractor seeking an experienced Superintendent. We specialize in multifamily renovation and ground up construction projects. The Superintendent will manage subcontractors and run the onsite construction of a 162 unit multifamily apartment complex in Crescent City California. To be successful you must have a comprehensive understanding of commercial multifamily and/or mixed use new construction. The ideal candidate will be detailoriented and possess the desire to help us continuously improve and grow our business.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Project Manager and will oversee onsite work
• Construction of 3 multifamily buildings to achieve budget schedule safety and quality goals.
• Be the point person in ensuring endclient satisfaction throughout the entire process.
• Coordinate subcontractors’ work oversee and report daily progress manage quality control and make certain everyone goes home safely at the end of each day.
• Utilize our software & technology to keep all metrics updated

Qualifications:

• Proficient in leading and working through construction challenges.
• Able in conjunction with Project Manager.
• Experienced working with project teams to maintain project schedules budgets quality control and safety.
• Must be able to read and implement blueprints.
• Experience with tracking and maintaining schedules in Microsoft Project.
• Review the lookahead with the Project Manager and review with subs at weekly meetings.
• Understanding of project documentation to assure the project is following specifications.
• Hold weekly safety meetings with Subcontractors to ensure workplace safety.
• Recommend and then put into action value engineering and constructability techniques that facilitate ontime and onbudget completion.
• Able to communicate the flow of project information within the project team.
• Work with a variety of stakeholders to include Architect Developer Property Management building inspectors lender and others to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
• Manage required job materials to ensure project tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
• Act as a point of contact for updates on the project timeline and completed tasks.

Experience:

• 10 years experience in multifamily and/or commercial construction; 5 years experience as Superintendent in multifamily and/or commercial construction.
• OSHA 30 certification is highly preferred.
• Experience leading new construction projects from inception to completion is needed.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of Word Excel and Outlook required.
• Valid Driver’s License local travel may be required.
