Construction Site Foreman - Misc metals

Trevor Frances Recruitment is currently hiring on behalf of our client a leading steel fabrication and welding company. Were searching for a dedicated Construction Site Foreman to join their team. Take charge of project planning execution and monitoring for exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assist in estimating processes.

Coordinate frontend project deliverables during contract negotiations.

Direct the transfer and conversion of IFC drawings into erection and shop fabrication drawings.

Develop project plans and secure approvals for project deliverables.

Collaborate with team members to meet objectives and ensure positive project outcomes.

Oversee shop fabrication scheduling logistics and site installation.

Perform takeoffs and procure accurate material and subcontractor pricing.

Identify critical paths to maintain budgetary and timeline objectives.

Communicate risks issues and plans of action with stakeholders.

Manage project scope cost changes and mitigate schedule changes.

Facilitate change requests and inform parties of impacts on budget and schedule.

Build and maintain positive client and vendor relationships.

Attend project meetings and oversee project closeout documentation transfer.

Qualifications:

5 years of experience as a Site Foreman.

5 years of welding experience.

Experience in commercial construction.

Knowledge of the OHS Act.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Reliable selfmotivated and goaloriented.

Strong team player with the ability to work independently.

Proficient in drawing interpretation and mathematics.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Quick learner and adaptable.

Proven problemsolving ability in a fastpaced environment.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Diploma or Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
