Construction Project Manager

Salary – Up to £42,000 + 5% yearly bonus (approx £2k) + Profit sharing + £650/month car allowance

Remote – Hybrid working option available

Location – Cheshire

We’re working with a prestigious company across the UK who have been established for over half a century. They have been a key part in promoting health through exercise providing an extensive range of active products for sport.

With continued success they have ambitious plans to grow, and are looking for a Construction Project Manager to support them, you will be responsible for ensuring their construction projects are managed on time and within budget. This technical role offers an excellent opportunity to hit the ground running, working on some exciting projects from the get-go.

Further responsibilities, but are not limited to:

• Produce a cost estimate & high level programme
• Produce a works split list and specifications documents
• Negotiate with external parties
• Manage external contractors and consultants
• Follow the works on site and inform the business of progress and manage the risks
• Engage with the FM team to ensure group policy and best practice is considered for all projects
• Contribute to the development of building and operation of more sustainable but cost effective stores
• Provide construction related financial advice including but not limited to; management of project and capital investment budgets, project cost plans, budget and cash flow forecasts and procurement

Skills and experiences required:

• Further Education qualifications (University degree)
• Held a similar position in another company (experience in retail fit-outs)
• Experience of JCT building contracts and consultants appointments

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field civil/mechanical/structural • Modelling using CAD 2D/3D software is advantageous • Experience in temporary structures onshore/offshore is advantageous
