SKILLS REQUIRED
Education: At least a Bachelors degree in Communications Journalism Public Relations or related
field.
Initiative and creativity: Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction.
Must be a confident communicator and have good presentation skills.
Excellent written and interpersonal skills: Strong writing editing proofreading layout and design are
essential including ability to present concepts verbally.
Language: Fluent in English
Good time management: Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills.
Collaboration: Ability to work independently and with a team.
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (including Word Excel and PowerPoint) is necessary Work Ethic:
Being an NGO work continues 24/7 (or as and when needed) so candidate must have an enthusiastic
willingness to work overtime and on weekends from time to time.
Knowledge of Adobe Suite (including Adobe Photoshop InDesign and Illustrator) ROLES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communications: Creating communications content on behalf of the organization to be shared with
Corporate Partners Donors and Students.
Documentation: Providing guidance explaining requirements and problem solving when required for
documentations help.
Reports and Presentations: Make the design content and production of all the communication
collaterals i.e. Proposal PreReports PostReports BiAnnual and Annual Reports and
presentations etc.
Data Management and Analysis: Student Data Interviews and analytical skills for
Scholarship Programs.
Management and Communication: Interactions with Donors and Students for various scholarship
projects and initiatives.
Collaboration: Work closely with operations scholarship and communications team members to
conceptualize and implement communication strategies mentorship events and interactions
involving students and donors.
