The Opportunity

Nature of Employment: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing 8090 articles per month (features listicles news or independentlysourced interviews)
  

• Working with a team of writers to ideate topics developing a focused datadriven content strategy with the Content Manager and providing direction to new content ideas.
  

• Review content for factual accuracy and general accuracy of grammar and context. Ensuring that content is written as per Sportskeeda s guidelines & checking spellings grammar & scope of the text
  

• Pitch story ideas and assist the vertical lead with content strategy/plan for events.
  

• Track topics around the NFL via Google Trends and other tools
  

• All news within the shift should be covered within the mentioned time and nothing should be left for the next shift.
  

• Help with sourcing stories via podcasts shows and tier 1 news outlets
  

• Stay updated with the latest news and developments around the NFL.
  

• Provide any other contentrelated assistance that may be required for any other articles/static pages
  

• Help in growing the NFL section of Sportskeeda.
  

Requirements

• Candidates with prior reasonable experience (24 years) covering/writing about the NFL or College Football should apply.
  

• Content strategy editing and topic ideation is a musthave skill.
  

• Staying updated with recent developments in and around the NFL players coaches teams (especially top teams) etc.
  

• Indepth game knowledge especially on tactics trade movements salary caps for teams fantasy football and player contracts
  

• Knowledge of betting odds spreads and other match odds is a plus
  

• A personal network across the NFL ecosystem (players coaches etc.) is a plus
  

• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
