CNC Lathe Machinist

Position: CNC Machinist

Shift: 2nd Hours:3:30pm12:00am
Type: FullTime Mode: Temp to Hire
Industry: Manufacturing Rate:$2125

Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Lathe Machinist this is a Temp to Hire position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role you will need 3 years of experience as CNC machinist; Aerospace experience preferred.

• Verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments such as micrometers depth gauge height gauge and verniers.
  
• Read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets.
  
• Familiar with Lean practices 6S and contributing to a continuous improvement environment.
  
• Follow all safety requirements regarding machine operation including proper guarding.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED equivalent
  
• 4years or more years in aerospace manufacturing environment desired.
  
• 3 years or more experience operating 4 Axis Grinding machine preferred.
  
• Exceptional mechanical ability.
  
• Good math skills.
