Job Summary

Cloud FinOps Analyst is responsible for optimizing and managing an organizations cloud infrastructure. They assess the performance security and costeffectiveness of cloud services ensuring efficient utilization. The Cloud FinOps Analyst at Cloudelligent will support the cloud team in delivering highly communicative and economic support to their customers as they embark on their cloud journey. In this role you will measure monitor and analyze the usage of our cloud customers and make recommendations for cost optimization. Successful candidates are experienced analysts with technical depth and expertise along with strong customer engagement and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and adhere to FinOps practices for efficient cloud cost management.
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate SecOps best practices into the cloud environment.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with FinOps and SecOps guidelines.
• Develop and maintain efficient reporting mechanisms for cloudrelated metrics and KPIs.
• Perform indepth analysis of cloud usage costs and security incidents.
• Provide actionable insights to optimize cloud performance cost efficiency and security.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable and secure cloud solutions.
• Ensure the implementation aligns with best practices for performance security and cost optimization.
• Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues.
• Continuously optimize cloud resources to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Implement and enforce security measures to protect cloudbased systems and data.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Work closely with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and provide cloud solutions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud configurations processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
• 2 years of FinOps and Cloud Operations experience.
• Technical understanding of AWS service offerings.
• Strong quantitative data analysis skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel PowerBI and PowerPoint or similar programs.
• Understanding of security processes controls and tools.
• Proven experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and security best practices in a cloud environment.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate SysOps Administrator Associate) are a plus.
