Role
A Client Director also known as an Account Director or Business Development Director is a seniorlevel position responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients or accounts. The primary goal is to ensure client satisfaction retention and revenue growth. This role involves strategic planning relationship management and collaboration with internal teams to deliver exceptional value to clients.
Responsibilities:
.Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong longlasting relationships with key clients.
Understand clients business needs and objectives.
Act as the main point of contact and advocate for clients within the organization.
Account Strategy:
Create and implement account strategies that align with both client goals and the organizations objectives.
Identify opportunities for upselling or crossselling additional products or services to clients.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with clients to develop and refine strategic plans.
Ensure that the organizations products or services align with the clients strategic vision.
Client Satisfaction:
Monitor and assess client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Work to exceed client expectations and ensure their success.
Financial Management:
Manage the financial aspects of client accounts including budgets forecasts and revenue targets.
Track and report on key financial metrics.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with internal teams such as sales marketing and operations to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
Provide guidance and leadership to crossfunctional teams working on client projects.
Contract Management:
Oversee the negotiation and renewal of contracts and agreements.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and obligations.
Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends market conditions and competitors.
Use market insights to develop strategies that benefit clients.
Candidate
- Background in the Banking Industry with experience in client relations management with CXOlevel engagement
- Bachelors degree in business marketing or a related field (master s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in client management account management or business development often with 12 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics related to the clients you serve.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- Leadership skills and the ability to lead crossfunctional teams.
- Financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets.
