Cleaning Supervisor Night Shift

We are currently looking for a Cleaning Supervisor for one of our clients a leader in real estate service provision and personalized facility management services.

What is in it for you:

Salary of $45.000 to $52.000 per year depending on experience.
Permanent and fulltime position 40 hours per week.
Onsite employment as well as travel within the Rimouski region and its surroundings.
Gas card and car allowance for the use of your vehicle.
Weekday schedule from 45 pm to 121 am with the possibility of occasional shifts on weekends.
A comprehensive benefits package including medical dental and eye care coverage ranging from 80100% becomes available after the probationary period.
30minute lunch breaks.
2 weeks of vacation per year.

Responsibilities:

The position requires primarily local travel within a 2 to 3hour radius with the possibility of longer trips to provide assistance elsewhere. A drivers license and a personal vehicle are required.

Provide a clean safe and pleasant environment.
Consult regularly with the Companys Operations Manager and Facility Manager regarding the condition of the building.
Provide information on staffing special project tasks work orders and the effectiveness of Housekeeping to maintain and provide quality services.
Make decisions in matters of employment training discipline termination of staff under your jurisdiction and report to the Operations Manager and Facility Manager.
Make independent decisions in the daytoday operations of the Cleaning Service Department consulting with the Operations Manager as necessary and maintain documentation for the overall benefit of clients and the company.
Maintain good communication with the Operations Manager Facility Manager and Customer Administration.
Consult with the Operations Manager for specific projects and work orders and follow up on special project work.
Supervise train motivate and develop personnel to achieve competence within cleaning responsibilities.
Supervise all aspects of cleaning to provide an atmosphere conducive to the comfort of all clients staff and customers.
Manage and keep inventory of operating equipment and supplies.
Analyze needs and recommend supplies and equipment.
Analyze trends in equipment materials and methods and recommend changes that would benefit the client.
Conduct daily quality assurance inspections.
Complete payroll forms variance records cost control reports and supplies cost reports.
Liaise daily with the Companys Operations Manager and Facility Manager.
Set priorities in scheduling project duties for Cleaning Staff.
Prepare Daily Weekly and Monthly reports for the Operations Manager of the Companys Cleaning Services.
Prepare monthly reports for submission to Administration.
Conduct Monthly staff and training meetings.
Requisition or purchase supplies and materials in advance.
Record staff absenteeism and sickness.
Inform the Operations Manager and Facility Manager of your designate in the event of your absence.
Conduct evaluation interviews for cleaning personnel.
Perform other duties as required.

What you will need to succeed:

High school diploma.
2 years or more of cleaning experience.
Experience in managing communicating and motivating workforce teams.
Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
Good communication skills.
Ability to organize and manage work programs.
Flexible and willing attitude to working hours including overtime nights and weekends.
Willingness to learn and acquire new skills.
Ability to solve problems through applying established procedures.
Possession of a drivers license and own vehicle for work purposes.
