Our client is a civil/structural engineering consultancy firm that specializes in structural engineering consultancy project management services and also structural assessment of buildings. Due to expansion they are in need of a CIVIL ENGINEERING MODELER.
LOCATION: LAGOS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce 2D drawings and intelligent 3D models
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the site teams
- Plan and prepare preliminary layouts and detailed design drawings from engineering notes sketches and/or other drawings ensuring they meet company and industry standards and codes
- Work closely with Engineers Designers and other Drafters to ensure coordination design effort is maintained.
REQUIREMENTS:
- HND in relevant field with 23 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the delivery of major infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Desirable experience in highways drainage design pressurized systems and systems infrastructure.
- General professional qualities as accuracy tenacity resultoriented and teamwork oriented attitude diplomacy
- Practical experience in design drafting (both in 2D and 3D) and/or construction.
- Autodesk Civil 3D knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of current 2D and 3D tools especially Autodesk Civil 3D
- Ability to model with Prota Revit and other engineering softwares.
- Experienced in British and European Standards for civil works.
