We are seeking a talented Citrix Workspace Engineer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting the latest Citrix solutions in our environment. As a Citrix Workspace Engineer, you will be responsible for provisioning, configuring, managing, and providing technical support for the entire Citrix infrastructure. Additionally, you will ensure operational stability and availability by researching, monitoring, and implementing solutions and security enhancements.
To be successful in this role, you must have 4+ years of experience with Citrix architecture, including Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop. You must be knowledgeable with Citrix Virtual Apps, StoreFront, and NetScaler components. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Citrix ADC/Gateway as well as VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon technologies.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain Citrix virtual desktop and application delivery infrastructure.
- Design and install Citrix virtualized environments.
- Configure components such as StoreFront, Citrix Workspace, and NetScaler.
- Troubleshoot Citrix environments to resolve any problems with applications, network connectivity, or performance.
- Create and maintain documentation related to Citrix architecture, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
- Monitor Citrix systems for performance and security.
- Provide technical support to end users and respond to user inquiries regarding Citrix deployments.
- Work within established change management processes to ensure a secure and compliant environment.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related subject.
- 4+ years of experience with Citrix architecture and applications, including XenApp and XenDesktop
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain a full Citrix stack including StoreFront, Workspace, NetScaler, and ADC/Gateway
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with security best practices and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Job timings 8 am to 5 pm (US Pacific time zone)
