Chiller Operator

We are looking for a Chiller Operator with 3yrs of experience in operating and maintaining Chillers of the plant.

We prefer candidates from Hyderabad.

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain chiller systems according to prescribed standards and procedures
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on chiller units
• Monitor and adjust temperature and pressure levels
• Identify and troubleshoot chiller system malfunctions
• Conduct regular cleaning and servicing of chiller components
• Document chiller operation and maintenance activities
• Respond to chiller system alarms and resolve issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for complex chiller repairs
• Optimize chiller system efficiency and energy usage
• Participate in training activities related to chiller operation and maintenance
• Keep accurate records of chiller system performance and maintenance activities
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in chiller operation
• Assist in the development of chiller maintenance schedules and plans

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in chiller operation and maintenance
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and chiller controls
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to chiller operation
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and lift heavy equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
• Certification in chiller operation or HVAC maintenance (preferred)
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations
• Understanding of environmental impact and energy efficiency considerations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills for maintenance recording and reporting
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
