About the Role

Essential Functions

Inspire and lead the technology organization fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation to deliver bestinclass technology solutions to internal and external clients.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies evaluating their potential impact on the firms operations and making recommendations for adoption.
Support technologyrelated innovation initiatives and projects leveraging industry best practices and identifying opportunities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
Establish solution and infrastructure priorities in conjunction with firm leadership.
Refine and execute the firms nearterm and longterm technology infrastructure security and application strategy.
Collaborate with firm leadership to establish solution and infrastructure priorities aligned with the firms strategic objectives.
Conduct research and perform costbenefit analyses on leadingedge technologies making informed recommendations to improve the firms technology capabilities.
Oversee the firms infrastructure security and development efforts ensuring the selection and direction of internal outsourced and contracted IT staff and vendors for technology and software.
Ensure the reliable secure scalable and highavailability operation of the firms technology platform.
Define and enforce technology standards and practices to maintain a robust and compliant IT environment.
Implement and monitor effective information security measures to safeguard the firms data and systems.
Develop track and control annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing staffing and IT operations.
Optimize technology spending while ensuring the delivery of highquality services and solutions.
Monitor financial performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership on the status of technology initiatives and investments.
Define and oversee an appropriate software development methodology ensuring the creation of Our clientstructured maintainable systems and applications.
Implement effective project management practices ensuring timely and successful delivery of technology projects.
Track analyze and monitor technology performance metrics providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

Skills And Educational Requirements


  • Exceptional people and organizational leadership with a track record of leading high performing teams

  • Law Firm experience required.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology management

  • Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent; masters degree preferred.

  • Broad technical expertise that will inspire and encourage creative collaborative problem solving.

  • Demonstrated experience in vendor evaluation contract negotiation and comparative financial analysis.

  • Able to navigate seamlessly betOur client in setting a strategy and executing/implementing.

  • Possess a Our clientrounded business background.

  • Able to attract inspire and retain all levels of talent.

  • Strong interpersonal presentation and negotiating skills.

  • Ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility at all levels including the C and Board level.
