Chief Operating Officer

We are looking to hire a Chief Operating Officer for one of our client companies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Operations Management or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5 years of progressive experience in operations management preferably in the apparel or fashion industry.
• Proven track record of success in optimizing operational processes driving efficiency and achieving results in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams foster a culture of collaboration and innovation and drive organizational change.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically anticipate future trends and challenges and develop proactive solutions to address them.
• Proficiency in project management tools and technologies as well as ERP and other operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute strategic plans that align with our overall objectives and drive sustainable growth.
2. Lead and optimize all aspects of our operational processes including supply chain management production inventory control logistics and quality assurance.
3. Provide effective leadership and direction to the operations team fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
4. Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate operational performance identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
5. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components negotiate favorable terms and optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
6. Evaluate and implement innovative technologies and systems to streamline processes improve efficiency and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
7. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
8. Foster collaboration and communication across departments working closely with sales marketing finance and other teams to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving organizational goals.
9. Develop and manage operational budgets tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or service levels.
10. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence proactively seeking out opportunities to optimize processes reduce waste and enhance overall efficiency.
