The Analytical R&D Team within Corteva Agrisciences Crop Protection Discovery and Development organization is seeking an Analytical Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of the selected candidate is to support scientists in the execution of daytoday tasks for the method development nonGLP and GLP validations and sample analyses.
Responsibilities
Work under the supervision of ARDT scientists to support sample weighing preparation and analysis of active ingredients intermediate impurities and formulation products etc. for quantitative and qualitative purpose.
Support nonGLP and GLP method validation lab experiments as needed.
Learn and operate analytical instrumentations for sample analysis e.g. HPLC GC LC/GC/MS etc. Routine maintenance of instruments and troubleshoot instrument issues.
Process analytical data and document the experiment and results timely to ensure data quality and integrity.
Effectively interact with key stakeholders and maintain flexibility to accommodate urgent projects and reprioritize work as needed.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently as needed.
Meet all the Corteva EHS&S compliance needs and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
Qualifications
BS in Chemistry or a related field
Strong understanding of analytical chemistry is preferred
Effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
Willing to continually learn and adhere to all safety standards
Strong desire to work in a collaborative team environment
Drive enthusiasm and selfmotivation
