For our client event venue and restaurant “Fort George” on the island of Vis Croatia we are looking for an experienced Chef de parties.
Candidate information/requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have at least three years of work experience in the kitchen environment
- HACCP Health and Safety and Food Safety Protocols knowledge
- Ability to follow recipes and culinary guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in the preparation
- Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation passion for delivering great food and service
- Ability to work in a busy and fastpaced working environment
- A basic level of English and good Croatian is required
About the job:
- Fulltime seasonal position
- Period of work: May 1st – October 1st
- 8 hours shifts 6 working days
- Salary is paid monthly (1600 € net per month tips service charge)
- Accommodation is provided
- Meals on duty provided
- Your duties will be: assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef managing food inventory attaining a broad knowledge of ingredient functionality and comfort in a culinary setting and maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the food preparation at all times...
